Norris In Team Of The Week (18/9/17)

Norris In Team Of The Week (18/9/17)

Swindon Town are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Luke Norris in the three two victory over Stevenage at the weekend at the County Ground was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Norris was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Two goals, one assist; Norris was a man in form as Swindon recorded their first home victory of 2017/18. The striker poked home a first from a corner, crossed for Keshi Anderson to make it two, and he doubled his tally from the penalty spot to secure a 3-2 success over Stevenage.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Norris for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Tomas Holy (Gillingham), Matt Kilgallon (Bradford City), David Mirfin (Mansfield Town), Christoph Zimmermann (Norwich City), Albert Adomah (Aston Villa), Kevin Dawson (Cheltenham Town), Jed Wallace (Millwall), Jake Taylor (Exeter City), Gboly Ariyibi (MK Dons), Luke Norris (Swindon Town), Jamal Lowe (Portsmouth).

Manager - Lee Johnson (Bristol City).
