Sturrock Up For Managers Award
Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock will find out today if he has been named League 2 manager of the month.
Town did not lose a single league match in January under Sturrock and now the Scotsman has been short listed for the dreaded Manager of the Month award.
Other managers on the short list include Danny Wilson (Hartlepool), Paul Trollope (Bristol Rovers), and Stockport County`s Jim Gannon.
Most managers suffer a brief bad spell after winning the manager of the month award so our vote goes to Danny Wilson of Hartlepool.
The League 2 manager of the month will be announced today (Thursday 8th February 2007) at 12:30pm on Sky Sports News (Sky Channel 405).
