Brownlie Departs For Chester City

Swindon Town striker Royce Brownlie has joined League 2 rivals Chester City on a deal until the end of the season.

Brownlie who signed for Town under previous manager Dennis Wise in the summer had been deemed surplus to requirements at the County Ground when Paul Sturrock took over as manager at the club.

Brownlie scored 2 goals for Town and has not played for the first team since injuring himself in Town's 2-0 loss at Mansfield Town.
