Swindon Confirm Jutkiewicz Departure

Swindon Town have confirmed that Lukas Jutkiewicz will leave Swindon Town and join Everton in the Summer.

Town will receive a fee close to £1M according to sources for the young strikers services depending on certain clauses in the contract although the club have chose not to disclose the fee agreed.

Here is the full statement from Swindon Town Football Club...

Swindon Town FC can confirm that Everton have agreed a deal to sign Lukas Jutkiewicz from Swindon Town at the end of the season.

The young striker, a product of the Swindon Town Centre of Excellence, who turns 18 on March 28, will join the Blues on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
He will complete the move at the end of Swindon Town's League Two campaign.

Jutkiewicz has made eight starts for the Club this term, scoring three times.

The Club would like to wish Lukas the best of luck for the rest of his career, and hope that he will end his tenure at Swindon Town on a high, as part of a promotion winning team.

Nah! from a financial angle it makes sense, no good keeping a 'crown jewel ' and the club folds up through lack of funds.
