Owls' Corr Signs For Swindon

As reported over the weekend by Vital Swindon Town, Sheffield Wednesday striker Barry Corr has signed for Swindon Town until the end of the season after being told by Owls boss Brian Laws he has no future at the Yorkshire outfit.

Barry Corr is an Irish footballer currently playing for Sheffield Wednesday and featured under Swindon manager Paul Sturrock during his time at Wednesday.

Corr is a former Leeds trainee, Corr failed to score in 18 appearances (half of them as a substitute) in the 2005-06 season before his season was ended prematurely by a back injury.

Corr spent a brief spell on loan at Bristol City during the 2006/08 season

Corr made 2 appearances, scoring one goal at City.

Corr was on trial at Chesterfield after being told he has no future at the Yorkshire outfit.
