Corr To Join Swindon Permanently

Corr To Join Swindon Permanently

The Sheffield Star is reporting that once new striker Barry Corr completes his loan deal the move to the County Ground will become permanent.

Speaking to the local rag Owls manager Brian Laws explained his decision to let Corr leave Wednesday, 'Unfortunately Barry hasn't reached the standards that we were looking for since I came here but I am sure he will flourish at that level (League 2)and I sincerely wish him all the best for the future.

'I see no reason why he won't do well there and, of course, Paul knows him well.

'Barry will benefit from playing games on a regular basis and it also means there could be room for me to bring someone else in later on.'

Corr didn't waste any time thanking manager Paul Sturrock for taking him from Hillsborough to the County Ground by scoring a goal for Swindon's reserve side last night in their 3-0 win over Bristol City.
