Hartlepool, Walsall Promoted

Hartlepool United and Walsall have been promoted back to League One at the first chance, Will Swindon Town be the next to follow?

Ritchie Barker scored a goal in the 81st minute at Wycombe to ensure Harlepool are promoted back to League One with a 1-0 scoreline.

Walsall beat Notts County 2-1 with former Town loanee Trevor Benjamin scoring the deciding goal in the 84th minute for The Saddlers.

Torquay United have been relegated to the Blue Square Premier (Nationwide Conference) after drawing with Peteroborough.

Rotherham United have joined Brentford in being relegated to League Two, 2 seasons after playing in the Championship.
