Sturrock Praises Swindon Fans
Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock praised the over 10,000 Swindon fans who helped take Town to the brink of promotion back to League One with their 2-0 win over Mansfield Town.
'Our fans were fantastic right the way through the game,' Sturrock said.
'It would be great to have that kind of support every week. The players could see the Stratton Bank full and that made a real difference.'
The fans made a fantastic atmosphere in the ground as fans in the Stratton Bank and Town End stands chanted 'We are Sturrock's Red and White army!' back and forward.
