Players Set To Depart Swindon

Players Set To Depart Swindon

Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock is set to break some hearts today by telling some members of his squad that they will not be back for Town's 2007/08 League One Campaign.

Paul Sturrock will return from a weekend of celebration to face what he calls an anti-climax of making difficult decisions.

Speculation mounts about who will not be back next season but Royce Brownlie is certain to get the chop and the club will hope to come to terms with the release of midfielder Gareth Whalley.

Curtis Weston and Ricky Shakes who have not been involved for a couple of months now could also face the axe.

If he does us well as he did with us(Plymouth) you'll be in the championship in 2 seasons.
