Shakes Told To Find New Club

Shakes Told To Find New Club

Swindon Town midfielder Ricky Shakes has been told he is not in manager Paul Sturrock's plans next season and can find a new club.

Shakes who arrived from Premiership side Bolton may not be leaving Swindon just yet as he has a clause in his contract that gives him another season at the County Ground should he play a certain amount of games.

"The manager has been good to me really. He has said that I am only going to be a squad player next season and that it would be best for me to find another club" Shakes said.

Shakes also revealed that Sturrock had stated he will be bringing in new midfielders and that Shakes would move further down the list.

Shakes` agent has already circulated Shakes` name to a number of clubs already however if he cannot find a club Shakes said he will try and fight his way back into the managers plans next season at the County Ground.
