Parkin Awaits Return To Swindon

Former Swindon Town striKer Sam Parkin says he cannot wait to return to Swindon as a Luton Town player this season.

Speaking to the official Luton Town website Parkin admitted that the Swindon match is the one game he will keep an eye out for when the League One fixtures come out.

'It (The Swindon Town matches) is the one game I will be looking out for because I still have a lot of friends there. It's a shame that I will be playing them back in League One, but I don't think the manager is intending to stay around in this division for long.' Parkin said,

'It will be nice to play against a former club and probably get a decent reception. Playing for Swindon was a great part of my career, so I can't wait to go back.'

We are fairly certain Parkin will get a decent reception, he only left Swindon to play in the Championship however since arriving at Ipswich Town and later Luton Town, Parkin has seen his games limited due to injuries.

"but I don't think the manager is intending to stay around in this division for long.' Parkin said" - Does he mean that they will be in league two next season?? They are nowhere near good enough to challenge next season. If they keep selling players like they did last season they will go down again!!
Wellsy
We are going to struggle a bit I think, but don't we always.A couple of players in and out, and a bit of luck - see how it goes -- I don't think PS will sit back and let things crumble.
