Town To Sign Morcambe's Blackburn?

Swindon Town are on the verge of signing Morecambe defender Chris Blackburn according to BBC Radio Lancashire.

Blackburn was a key part of the Morecambe side that got promoted from the Conference last season after beating Exeter City in the Conference Playoff Final at Wembley in May.

Blackburn is a pacy defender who is probably best known for his beard and very long hair and has been capped by England at semi-pro level.

Blackburn scored 3 goals for Morecambe last season.

BBC Radio Lancashire reports that Blackburn will sign on Monday.
