Akinfenwa deal off

Akinfenwa deal off

Town boss Paul Sturrock has ended his interest in the big striker after further tests revealed that the striker will not be fully recovered from his broken leg until at least November.

Sturrock said, ''finances come into it because we would have taken him on a years contract, when he may not be fit until November or later. I will continue my search for new players, and strikers are very much at the forefront of my enquires.''
