Onuora Backed

Vice Chairman Mark Devlin has told the Swindon Advertiser that they are happy to back caretaker manager Onuora's attempts to strengthen the squad.

“Iffy knows how much the board want him to succeed and that his judgement is being backed. If he finds a player or players then we will do everything we can to find the money. Iffy continues to inspire everyone behind the scenes with his fresh approach. There is a determination there. We are more than happy.”

He says the board have faith that Iffy can pull Swindon out of the battle at the basement of League One.

Devlin also wants to extend Rory Fallon's deal ‘sooner rather than later’. Fallon has indicated he would like to enter talks to extend his stay.

Devlin also says at some stage the Board will sit down and talk about a contract for Iffy:

“There is no Sword of Damocles hanging over Iffy. When the time is right I’m sure we’ll sit down and talk”
