Former Swindon Midfielder Dies

Former Swindon Town midfielder David Preece who was at the club on loan from Derby County has passed away.

Preece who came in on loan from Countu played in 7 games for Town during the clubs 1995/96 Division 2 Championship winning season and scored 1 goal for Town.

Preece according to the Luton Town official website had been fighting a illness for a short time prior to his passing away.

Vital Swindon Town would like to send it's condolences to the Preece family during this difficult time.
