Swindon Takeover Resolution Soon?

Swindon Takeover Resolution Soon?

Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock has hinted that there may be some news on the horizon in regards to the takeover at the club.

Speaking to the Swindon Advertiser Sturrock said, 'We are still in that wait and see mode at the moment (about the new investors) but we are very hopefully things are now coming to fruition.

'I think something will take place in the next couple of days. Obviously it will be a relief because it will enable me to know where we stand and what I can do.

'Then we will have discussions with them, whether it is the old owners or the new owners'

The new consortium have begun due-diligence which includes looking through the accounts and have already put Rufus Brevett as a sporting director at the club to liaise between the investors and Sturrock.

Club director Bob Holt stated that the new consortium would finally lift the financial cloud that has been hovering over the club for over 5 years. The new consortium are also likely to pay the CVA and any other financial commitments which are due at the moment. GET INVOLVED AT VITAL SWINDON TOWN 100% FREE!!
