Asamoah Linked With Swindon Move

Shrewsbury Town striker Derek Asamoah has been linked with a move to Swindon Town according to Sky Sports News this evening.

Asamoah scored 10 goals for The Shrews last term and can play on the wing if called upon.

Swindon Town boss Paul Sturrock has made no secret of the fact he is out looking at buying, or signing a striker to help boost the clubs striking options whilst Barry Corr recovers from a back injury.

Asamoah has spent time at Northampton Town, Lincoln City, Mansfield Town, Chester City and Shrewsbury scoring 39 goals in 214 appearances.
