Pair To Be Offered Swindon Contracts

Pair To Be Offered Swindon Contracts

Swindon Town trialists Steve Adams and Ibon Arrieta have both been offered permanent deals at the County Ground.

Adams who had been playing at Sheffield Wednesday had been trying to prove his fitness after suffering injuries over the last 2 seasons.

Adams was named our man of the match against Bristol City last week as Town slumped to a 1-0 defeat. It will mark the third time that Adams has linked up with Sturrock after playing under him at Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth Argyle.

Arrieta had been playing up front for Town all pre-season and with Town currently suffering a shortage in strikers he will come as a welcome addition.

Dazza - its a bit early to say but I have confidence in Paul Sturrock - he doesn't panic buy - but in saying that we are a bit light up front still, but I'm sure he has his plans for that.
