'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Kevin Blackwell Match Reaction

Luton Town manager Kevin Blackwell gives his thought's on his teams loss to Swindon Town on Saturday.

Blackwell: We are very dissapointed

'We are very disappointed,' admitted Blackwell. 'I think we felt as a group that we didn't look sharp today for whatever reason.

'To get back to 1-1, we are then very disappointed to have conceded a late goal.

'You have to set standards that are better than that and I think the players, and myself, know that.

'As a group we have decided where we want to go this season and along that journey you will have ups and downs and you have to deal with those.

'I think we could have done certain things better today and we will be working on that back on the training ground.'

Blackwell: Credit To Swindon

'Swindon played a high tempo game, so fair play to them. They put us under a lot of pressure which was difficult.

'They had a few efforts which we cleared off the line so you have to give Swindon some credit.'

Nice to hear from a Manager who isn't bleating about the ref, the weather, injuries etc..
