'If It's Football, It's Vital'

STFC Back To School Family Day

Swindon Town and 107.7 Brunel FM present a 'Back To School' Family Day.

As part of the Football League's 'Fans Of The Future' initiative Swindon Town have designated the visit of Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 1st September to The County Ground as a 'Family Day'.

Supported by 107.7 Brunel FM, junior tickets will be available at the discounted price of 2.
1 from each ticket sold will be donated to Brunel FM's chosen charity, Swindon Foodbank. The Foodbank is designed to help families and individuals in Swindon who are in crisis by providing free emergency food.

The Brunel FM promotions team will be at The County Ground before kick-off, distributing goodie bags and balloons.
The 2 ticket will only be available until 5pm Thursday 30th August. Please call into the STFC Box Office and mention 'The Brunel FM Back To School Day' to purchase your tickets. Alternatively please call 0871 2232300

The 'Fans of the Future' campaign aims to encourage the next generation of supporters to watch live football at their local League club by providing a range of innovative ticketing initiatives for young supporters. Swindon Town FC have for the last three seasons offered a 'Kids Go Free' scheme for fans under the age of seven, as well as discounted tickets for school groups and local football teams.

Helen James-Ellett, Sales & Marketing Manager from Brunel FM, commented:
'We at 107.7 Brunel FM are delighted to be playing a key role in this fantastic initiative involving the youngsters in our community. We will continue to support the 'Fans of the Future' campaign to help encourage young supporters to become more involved with S.T.F.C.'
Football League Chairman Lord Mawhinney said: 'Supporters are the lifeblood of professional football. By making League matches more accessible to young supporters through 'Fans of the Future' Football League clubs are taking a courageous lead.
'They are helping themselves by helping young people to enjoy football locally. I congratulate them on being far-sighted enough to commit themselves to an initiative that will deliver real results for generations to come.
'I am certain that young supporters and their parents will react positively to this initiative and I encourage them to take advantage of it. Having the opportunity to see their local side in action will begin a lifelong football passion for many.'
