Sturrock Praises Swindon Town Fans

Swindon Town Manager Paul Sturrock has thanked the Swindon fans for their magnificent support prior to the match against Cheltenham Tomorrow.

Town have sold out their away allocation for both of their first two League One away games this season and Sturrock took time to praise the fans.

Speaking to BBC Radio Swindon Sturrock said, 'The turnout of the fans has been incredible. It was great against Northampton and Luton and to get 1,800 to Cheltenham is again fantastic.

'We are going to places and filling their stadiums. It augurs well.'

Sturrock also stated that opposing teams must look forward to the visit of Swindon knowing that they will bring a big following meaning more money going into the club.

In the next couple of month`s Town are expected to take a large following to Millwall as well as Leeds United as well.
