Leicester Say No To Sturrock

Leicester City owner Milan Mandaric has been quoted as having no interest in bringing Paul Sturrock to the Walkers Stadium.

Sturrock had been linked to the vacant post yesterday by the BBC who claimed that Leicester had made an official approach for Sturrock.

The Swindon Advertiser did some investigative work and interviewed Mandaric and thankfully the response was the one Swindon fans wanted,

Paul Sturrock is not even a manager I had really thought about.' Mandaric is quoted as saying, 'I don't know why people are saying we have made an approach.

'he (Sturrock) is working at the moment and is obviously under contract. It would be far too messy for anyone to try and take him away.

'I have not made an approach to Swindon for Paul Sturrock and I do not expect to.'

These words will be music to Town fans ears however, Mandaric said the same thing at Portsmouth before stealing manager Harry Redknapp from local rivals Southampton.
