Who Scores All The Goals???

Who Scores All The Goals???

Who is going to solve Swindon Town`s goal scoring crisis? Billy Paynter? Kaid Mohamed? Ibon Arrieta? Simon Cox? or Barry Corr?

Well actually it could be neither of them. Town`s top goal scorer has yet to feature in a first team game. In fact he has yet to be named on the bench for the Robins.

Town`s top goal scorer is defender Chris Blackburn who arrived from newly promoted League 2 side Morecambe in the summer.

Blackburn has scored 3 goals in 2 games however has yet to be given a shot to show what he can do in a League One match.

Blackburn scored 2 goals against Brentford in the Johnstone`s Paint trophy and one against Swansea City yesterday in a reserve match.

We are not suggesting that Blackburn start up front like Andy King would suggest with matt Heywood but it would be great to see Blackburn get a shot. A couple of goals from the back is never a bad thing.

The only problem right now is that the combination of Jamie Vincent, Jerel Ifil, Hasney Aljofree and Jack Smith are performing so well.

Paul Sturrock, Jose Veiga, Jim Little, whoever is selecting the team surly Blackburn merits a spot on the bench at the very least?
