Yeovil To Ban Swindon Fans?

Yeovil Town are considering banning Swindon Town fans from our fixture at Yeovil on Boxing Day due to high police costs.

Yeovil have been quoted that the cost of policing the game would be in excess of £40,000 which the club says it cannot afford to pay.

As an alternative Yeovil have suggested moving the fixture to a 12pm kick off but Swindon Town management say this will interfere with their pre-match routine.

Apparently someone from Swindon threw a brick at the Yeovil Town supporters coach after the game at the County Ground.

This person who threw the brick though has not even been confirmed as a Swindon Town fan as far as we are aware.

Football League regulations state that clubs must allow opposition clubs to have atleast 10% of the ground.

It would truly be a pathetic state of affairs should Yeovil be given approval to lock out all Swindon Town fans in what would surely be a sell out at Huish Park.

The last time the 2 clubs met was on the first official Loud & Proud away day where Swindon Town fans created a fantastic atmosphere.

1 word ArsenalRob - BANDIT I bet you would like to go 'all the way' with Yeovil.

This is absolutely rediculous - and if it goes ahead STFC should be compensated with a cut of the supposed savings. Seems to me they are using a situation to gain an unfair home advantage.

If nothing else season ticket holders should be allowed to go - as they will have those names on file etc etc
