More Swindon Town Protests Planned

Fans are planning more protests against the current board of Swindon Town Football Club as the financial situation worsens at the club.

Various fans forums on the internet are already discussing plans for further protests prior to the clubs match against Tranmere Rovers (should this fixture take place).

So far TrustSTFC have not backed any protests against the club however after the fans forum Monday at the GW Hotel this stance could change depending on a members vote.

Not sure what this will acheive other than good paper talk, yes we are all concerned, but this kind of action can esculate and people jump on the bandwagon without much knowledge of what is going on (I think we are all suffering from that one). Next minute we have a mini riot and the name of the club is dragged down again. There is obviously a major hiccup in the takeover - and like with business its not always possible or sensible to divulge facts at this stage. Past experiences aggrevate this though, with the underhand way we have been treated.Hence the frustration and the fan protests, but lets keep it under control and try and avoid the confrontation events of the other night. I think personnally this Best group has gone in with their eyes wide shut, and have realised now the cost - they still want to do it but not at this price.....if Bill Power is still interested lets get him involved again.
