Sturrock Set To Release Players

Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock is set to let players go out on loan or end their contracts after revealing the club cannot afford to keep all the current players at the club.

Sturrock had stated for the last couple of weeks the team was top heavy and now has come the time to let players go or send them out on loan.

Vital Swindon Town predicts Ibon Arrieta and Mauro Almedia will be the first to go as they were brought in by BEST holdings and not by Sturrock himself. BEST holdings have since left the club and therefore the club may be keen to rid themselves of these players. Andy Caton who was been out on loan at Leigh and Swindon Supermarine could also be on his way out. Steve Adams who has been injured most the season could also see the door.

Kaid Mohamed will probably head out on loan with League 2 side Wrexham keen on the welsh striker.
