Condolences To Hartlepool United

Vital Swindon Town would like to send it's condolences and thoughts to the family of Hartlepool United's Michael Maidens who was tragically killed over the weekend.

Maidens a promising player who came up through the youth ranks at Hartlepool was tragically killed in a car accident on the weekend.

The promising midfielder will be remembered by Hartlepool fans for his cracking 40 yard goal against Huddersfield in 2006.

This tragic accident comes less than 2 months after QPR's Ray Jones was killed in a car crash.

Our condolences and thoughts go out to Hartlepool United F.C, the fans, players and most importantly the family and friends of Michael Maidens at this very sad time.

Anyone wishing to leave their thoughts are encouraged to visit the Hartlepool United Vital site and specifically the story relating to this tragic news by clicking HERE
