Swindon Hit With Transfer Embargo

Swindon Town F.C have been hit with a transfer embargo from the Football League for not paying their footballing debts in full.

Swindon Town will not be able to sign any players until the embargo is lifted.

It was known that Cheltenham Town were owed £25,000 about three weeks ago however it is unclear whether this has been paid yet.

The club have stated they hope to have all their footballing debts paid by the end of the week.

And still the soap opera continues - if STFC were a dog it would have been put out of it's misery years ago!!

hopefully the takeover will happen soon as we wont be paying players wages and will destroy team spirit

not at all surprised, only a matter of time, typical of this club.

You can forget a takeover, what with Mr Powers writ against the club for 1.12m - that is going to make things harder. If the greedy Wills' actually sold the club to Bill Power at a reasonable cost all this could be avoided.

Don't count on Bill Power being the messiah here. We need a fan to win euromillions.

Lets hope you can get sorted out soon, I hate to see clubs struggling for the fans sake more than anything.

Another day, another crisis at STFC. Well lets hope Fitton gets in and sorts this out once and for all.
