Ifil To Miss Elland Road Clash?

Swindon Town have suffered a massive blow prior to their match against Leeds United on the weekend.

Swindon Town defender Jerel Ifil looks doubtful for the huge clash at Elland Road this Saturday after showing ill effects from a shin injury in training this week.

Swindon Town boss Paul Sturrock has stated although the Leeds game is massive he does not want to risk losing one of his best players for the long term.

Ifil becomes the second defender likely to miss the Elland Road clash with Jamie Vincent already ruled out.

Town will feel a bit more confident heading to Leeds this Saturday after the League One club were eliminated from the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy by League 2 side Bury after a 2-1 loss last night.

The loss marked the first time Leeds have lost at Elland Road this season.

Who's likely to replace Ifil?
BlindJak
We ain't got a natural replacement, and he has been a tower at the back this season, but hey that's the way it goes, gives us a bit of excuse IF we get stuffed.

It's the Sturrock curse again, always happens no matter where he is!!
will it ever happen
leeds have got players out as well and dont look so good recently , a draw would be good but dont count us out we seem to play better against the top teams

Thats a big loss, I saw him against Donny and he's the rock at the heart of your defence.
