Swindon Issue Warning To Plymouth

Swindon Town has issued a 'hands off' warning to Plymouth Argyle who have been linked with Town manager Paul Sturrock.

Town have stated that any approach for Sturrock would be unwelcome and rejected.

Sturrock was manager at Plymouth Argyle previously and got 2 promotions whilst at home park.

Sturrock had previously stated he would like to retire near Plymouth and therefore many Town fans feel he may decide a return to Argyle would be too hard to turn down.

Reaction to a Sturrock return at Argyle has been met with mixed reactions by Plymouth fans.

Many fans would love for Luggy to return whilst others feel that Sturrock does not have a good enough track record in the Championship to take the team forward.

Plymouth currently sit 7th in the Coca Cola Championship.
