Swindon Town have confirmed the departure of their management trio to Plymouth Argyle.

The Swindon Advertiser has revealed that the club will likely received a 500,000 compensation payment from Plymouth for Paul Sturrock, Kevin Summerfield and John Blackley.

better than nothing ain't it ? help to pay off some creditor somewhere in the queue.....

It'll pay part of the CVA for a start - just 400,000 to go..... Sorry, it will probably get lost in the Wills' finances somewhere!!

Thats a bit harsh. The Wills have lost money over the years by backing Swindon, and digging us out of many a hole. Them pocketing the cash would be a partial recompensation. I'm not saying they managed finances well whilst in charge, but they clearly havent made anything from the club

should have got alot more comp than that IMO

I refuse to believe that the Wills' family have ever made a "loss" from the club - I am sure it has been more than covered by the shareholder dividends.
