Chris Taylor to leave Swindon

Swindon Town's Chris Taylor has been told that he can leave the club at the end of his three year contract, which ends at the end of this season. Speaking to the Swindon Advertiser Taylor reflected on his stay in Wiltshire. “The club have said I am free to leave,” he said. “It is disappointing because I have been here for so long but I am now just desperate to sort something else out sooner rather than later.”

Taylor played 4 games for Swindon's first team with his debut coming in April 2003 vs Crewe Alexandra. Town won 1-0.

Taylor previously played for England at the under 15 level.

The 20 year old played today in League 2 club Torquay United's friendly, vs Forest Green Rovers with the aim of sealing a permanent switch.
