Swindon Town Manager Iffy Onuora has told the press that he will begin talking to his out of contract players, very shortly.

Iffy is keen to secure the services of Jack Smith, Sean O'Hanlon, Rhys Evans, Jerel Ifil, Ricky Shakes and Charlie Comyn-Platt with improved deals. Onoura said 'We want to do the planning for next year now, rather than in June and July. It gives players the chance to bed in and management the chance to plan ahead.

'We want to be looking to supplement what we've got, rather than like last year, when there were large-scale changes.

'I am thinking in terms of keeping this squad together, so all the ones who are out of contract will come into the reckoning.'

Iffy is keen to avoid a repeat of last season where the club only offered one year contract's and saw half the team leave at the end of last season.
