'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Time To Do The Right Thing

Vital Swindon Town makes a direct plea to The Wills Family to sell Swindon Town F.C to Andrew Fitton.

The Wills family have always stated they are fans of the club, well now is time to show that. Fans were appreciative of the fact that the Wills family had ploughed money to keep the club going however this will all be in vain if the club should go bankrupt due to not being able to complete the deal with Andrew Fitton.

The Tax man and creditors will be losing patience very soon and once that winding up order comes through, it`s game over.

This week we found out that talks collapsed with Fitton`s consortium and even Bob Holt has said, there is very little time to sort out the financial crisis at the club. Thankfully towards the end of the week, both sides are talking again.

We urge the current owners of the club to forget about personal gain and to do what`s right and that is to sell the football club to someone who can take it forward, and to do this now.

Fitton has the resources to take the club back to where it belongs in the Championship. This really is the last chance saloon, we want to ensure that Swindon has a professional football club for many years to come.

Please conclude the deal now and lets all concentrate on football instead of what is happening off the field.

If the Wills family cannot afford it - what else can they do. Otherwise its curtains for all the club, players and supporters who will suffer the loss of their club. They must feel aggrieved because of all the money they have ploughed... I've felt the same in the past for spending hundreds of pounds on cars only to scrap them.

things are looking very bleak at this time, I am assuming that going into administration for a third time is out of the question and would surely mean a very stiff penalty from the football league over and above the normal 10 pts. I really hope that there is some solution to this ongoing mess. good luck!!!

If he does not sell he will end up with far less - nothing!!!!!!!!!! They need to be realistic this club at this time is worth nothing

As far as I'm aware you are not allowed to go into administration a 3rd time according to league rules - thus its the takeover or bust. APG I'm sure you are right about the Wills, they clearly love the club and have spend alot keeping us going, as well as having surrendered ownership in the past only to be called back in to rescue us once things went pear shaped. Surely though they will see sense here though, as this is the only and final option. James Wills reopening talks is hopefully a sign of that.

They need to get on with it and hurry up and sell the club.

Lets hope you can get it all sorted out before Christmas. It cannot be helping the players.
