'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Just What Is Going On With STFC?

Swindon Town`s takeover that was supposed to be complete Monday STILL has yet to be completed.

Jeremy Wray, one of the backers of Andrew Fitton`s consortium was adamant that he would start work at the County Ground today however the deal has yet to be approved by Swindon Town F.C`s solicitors and now fans are starting to worry if the takeover will break down again.

Fitton and Co. are keen to start work at the County Ground and start a new era at the club as well as appoint a new manager to help Town get back to winning ways, however the latest set back has to be the most annoying after Town fans were all but told by media outlets and Wray himself that the deal was done.

The Swindon Advertiser has called the whole situation a 'farce' whilst Town fans just want to know 'What is going on?'

The Football Club itself has been very quiet about the whole situation after releasing a statement Sunday morning, only to remove it shortly after.

Jeremy Wray says he expects the deal to be concluded today however we won`t hold our breath. Today never comes.

It is strange that clubs such as Coventry and Ipswich have had takeovers recently and they have all been smooth transactions whilst the sale of Swindon Town F.C looks to be the most complicated transaction in football.

The Question is, What is going on? Even if we get an answer can we believe it?

We don't deserve all this nonsense.

Please just sort it out so we can all move on.

I think the Wills & the Greek are clinging on for grim death.

Probably. I sympathise to some extent but at some point you just have to cut your losses and hand over the keys

If they didn't want to sell, why say they did in the first place. Admit defeat and walk away with some respect!!!!!
