Swindon Attempt To Keep Cox

Swindon Town are attempting to keep on loan Reading striker Simon Cox at the County Ground until the end of the season.

Cox has been simply fantastic this season scoring 8 goals since arriving at Swindon before the transfer deadline.

Cox will play his last game for Swindon against Swansea on New Years Day before heading back to the Madjeski Stadium.

Cox has told Swindon management that he would like to stay at the County Ground knowing he will play games for Swindon however it is anticipated that a host of Championship clubs will swoop to sign the highly rated striker with former Town boss Paul Sturrock rumoured to be interested.

Town fans will be hopeful that the highly rated hitman will extend his stay at the County Ground until the end of the season.
