Swindon In Top 30 Rich List

'WE'RE SO RICH IT'S UNBELIEVABLE', Yes it's true, skint Swindon Town are now in football's top 30 rich list after a takeover of the club was secured yesterday.

Sir Martyn Arbib was named as one of the mystery backers at the club and is among the top 200 richest people in all of Britain.

Arbib is a trustee and a major benefactor of Henley's River and Rowing Museum and sold his fund management company, Perpetual, for £1.05bn six years ago and was knighted in 2003.

The new owners of Swindon Town combined are worth a rumoured £1 billion pounds which finally secures the clubs future for many years to come.

Town are not expected to splash the money about however if there is a player out there that will help the team then the new owners are almost certainly ready to release funds to purchase them.
