Blackburn Set To Leave Swindon?

Swindon Town defender Chris Blackburn could be set to seal a permanent move away from the County Ground.

Reports have surfaced that Blackburn is set to leave the County Ground and head to an un-named club.

If this report is true then Morecambe would clearly be favourites to re-sign Blackburn who was influencial in helping the club win promotion to the Football League last season.

Sammy McIlroy the Morecambe manager, is a keen admirer of Blackburn's talents and was monitoring the situation earlier in the season at Swindon when it was reported that Blackburn may be allowed out on loan.

This report coincides with Maurice Malpas stating after the Crewe match that a player wants to leave the club and Swindon are currently trying to sort this out.

NOTE: This story is just a rumour and there is no confirmation that Chris Blackburn is the player that wants to leave Swindon Town.
