Simon Cox Officially Joins Swindon

Swindon Town have announced the signing of striker Simon Cox from Reading in a move that shows we are serious about a playoff push this season.

Cox joins on an initial two and half year deal and kept his word about wanting to return to Swindon. The fans and players of Swindon Town will be celebrating the signing today after pipping Northampton Town to the post.

The deal is subject to FA and Football League Approval.

Town paid a rumoured £200,000-£250,000 to get their man which shows the new board mean business.

Cox will wear number 31 as he did during his loan spell and gives Town their first natural striker since the departure of Sam Parkin three years ago.
