Swindon Town vs. Woking

County Ground

7/11/09

Woking visit County Ground

Town host Woking in the first round of the FA Cup this weekend and Danny Wilson's men will be hoping for a comfortable win against the Blue Square South side.

Vital Quotes:

Swindon Town Team News:

Alex Revell is definately unavailable with Tope Obadeyi also likely to be ruled out and Charlie Austin is cup tied. Lescinel, following his fifth yellow card of the season, and Douglas are suspended.

Good news however as Alan O'Brien continues to make his come back from injury, and could feature on the bench.

Player to watch: Billy Paynter

Paynter is looking to continue his recent success in front of goal today and bag himself a few against the Blue Square South side.

Woking Team News:

Woking face no injury worries before the game, and are likely to have a full strength side to pick from.

Player to watch: Giuseppe Sole

The former Middlesboro' trainee is Woking's top scorer so far this season with 9 goals in 15 appearances and would love to score against higher opposition at the weekend.

Match Facts & Stats

These two sides have only met each other on one previous occasion, also in the FA Cup. In 1996, Woking visited the County Ground with Town winning the encounter 2-0, with goals from Allison and Bodin.

Match Prediction:

Swindon should win this match comfortably, however, we have all seen them lose matches they shouldn't, but I think Wilson's men should do the job this weekend.
