Danny Wilson takes his squad to The Valley, a win or even a draw against Charlton is enough to take Swindon to Wembley for the first time in 17 years...
Swindon Town could/should have been out of sight going to London. However, a combination of poor finishing and good last gasp defending meant that Wilson's side take a small advantage into the 2nd Leg.
Our friends at Vital Charlton are reporting that Miguel Llera could replace Sam Sodje who went into the 1st Leg not fully fit so he may not be risked.
Also, expect veteran forward and long term foe of STFC to play bigger part for the upcoming fixture.
Vital Charlton have called it too.
Town fans know that against Swindon a goal is never too far away when Nicky 'bloody' Forster is on the pitch.
The big question is whether Billy Paynter will be fit. The fact that Town were able to beat Thd Addicks without the sides top scorer is reassuring but we do need his clincal finishing.
When other younger players are running out of steam, the Bolton loanee just keeps going.
This is the 4th and final between the two clubs this season - Town have drawn two and, of course, won once - that coming at the CG last Friday.
Town surrendered slender leads in the two regular league during injury time.
This badboy is going to Extra-Time and even penalties. Brace yourself folks.
End of Season or Wembley.
