It's 21 days since Town's humiliating exit from the F.A. Cup to Non-League Crawley Town.
Finally, Town get the opportunity to make amends against Gary Johnson's Peterborough United.
Jonathan Douglas FINALLY begins his 3 match suspension after his sending-off against Crawley Town.
Paul Caddis remains sidelined due to illness.
Goalkeepers David Lucas and Phil Smith have been passed fit.
No contest!
The only probable absentee for United should be forward Aaron McLean who is in talks with Hull City.
In fairness Peterborough have several decent individual players but Mackail-Smith is likely to cause the Town defence the most mischief!
In the Head-to-Head there's nothing separating the two sides in the League with Swindon and Peterborough both winning 17, drawing 13 and losing 17.
The first meeting between the two sides occurred in December 1955, a 1-1 draw in front of 23,983 fans at the County Ground.
The last fixture was the thrilling but ultimately heartbreaking 5-4 loss at London Road in October. Kevin Amankwaah scoring a late, late own goal.
Among those to have played for both clubs include:
Don Heath
Jimmy Quinn
Kenny Allen
Giuliano Grazioli
Leigh Barnard
Trevor Benjamin
Bart Griemink
Dean Hooper
Lloyd Opara
Steve Robinson
Des Linton
Martin Williams
