NEXT UP: Bournemouth

The New Year is here and Swindon Town need to start the year with a big ol' bang. Today Swindon welcome Bournemouth to the County Ground. The Cherries will be said to see 2010 go as they've had a cracking year

Vital Quotes:

Swindon Town Team News:

David Lucas is back from injury but is likely to only replace Mark Scott on the subs bench as Danny Wilson keeps faith with the players who started for the 1-1 with Peterborough United.

Jonathan Douglas sits out with suspension (game 2 of 3).

Swindon side that drew 1-1 with Peterborough

Smith, Frampton, Cuthbert, Sheehan, Caddis, McGovern, Ferry, Prutton, Ritchie (O'Brien 86'), Pericard (Dossevi 61'), Austin

Subs not used: Scott, Rose, Timlin, Morrison, Ball.

Player to watch: Charlie Austin

This could be the last time we see Charlie Austin play for Swindon at the County Ground against the club he would have joined had Bournemouth not had a transfer embargo placed on them in 2009.

Enjoy it folks.

Bournemouth Team News:

Eddie Howe is likely to drop young forward Danny Ings to the bench in favour of Cherries legend Steve Fletcher.

Bournemouth side that lost 2-0 at Milton Keynes Dons

Jalal, Wiggins, Pearce, Bartley, Smith, Robinson (Cooper 46'), Pugh, Hollands, Feeney, Taylor (Bignall 64'), Ings (Fletcher 30')

Subs not used: Bradbury, Stewart, Arter, Cummings.

Player to watch: Shwan Jalal

Bournemouth lost their in form forward Josh McQuoid to Millwall and haven't scored in the two league games since the Northern Irishman left the club.

As Bournemouth look to replace McQuoid they will be relying on the former England C international to continue the sort of form that has seen the goalkeeper subject to interest from bigger clubs.
