The New Year is here and Swindon Town need to start the year with a big ol' bang. Today Swindon welcome Bournemouth to the County Ground. The Cherries will be said to see 2010 go as they've had a cracking year
David Lucas is back from injury but is likely to only replace Mark Scott on the subs bench as Danny Wilson keeps faith with the players who started for the 1-1 with Peterborough United.

This could be the last time we see Charlie Austin play for Swindon at the County Ground against the club he would have joined had Bournemouth not had a transfer embargo placed on them in 2009.

Bournemouth lost their in form forward Josh McQuoid to Millwall and haven't scored in the two league games since the Northern Irishman left the club.
As Bournemouth look to replace McQuoid they will be relying on the former England C international to continue the sort of form that has seen the goalkeeper subject to interest from bigger clubs.
Statistically, Bournemouth have the edge over Swindon in the leage with Town winning 35, drawing 26 and losing 37 against the Cherries.
It's been a small while since Town and Bournemouth. December 2007 and a 2-2 draw at the Fitness First Stadium.
Town took the lead through Barry Corr but the home side scored two through Jo Kuffour and Sam Vokes. However, Town snatched a draw thanks to a second goal through Corr.
Sammy Igoe, Jamie Vincent, Jimmy Glass, Shaun Close, George Ndah, Jo Kuffour and Les Roberts are among the players to have played for both clubs.
