Swindon's battle against the drop into League Two limps on and faces it's toughest test yet... away at runaway leaders Brighton and Hove Albion.
Many point at the departure of captain Gordon Greer to Brighton last summer as the major factor behinds Town's decline.
In an interview with the Advertiser, the Scottish central defender expressed his surprise at Town's plight.
'They have got a really good squad of players. Four or five of them could easily play in the Championship, so I couldn't tell you what has gone wrong... I was quite shocked about Danny Wilson. I didn't expect it. I heard that he resigned so a new manager could come in and give them the best chance possible to stay in the league.'
On loan forward Chris Wood is away on international duty with New Zealand so misses out.
Defender Adam El-Abd is definitely ruled out with a hamstring problem while Ashley Barnes is struggling with an ankle knock.
Albion side that beat Notts County 1-0 on 22/03/11
C. Ankergren, A. El-Abd (T. Elphick 45'), M. Painter, I. Calderon, G. Greer, G. Dicker, E. Bennett (C. Noone 58'), L. Bridcutt, M. Sparrow, G. Murray, C. Wood (F. Sandaza 79')
The former Carlisle United and Rochdale forward could/should cause Town's defence significant troubles.
Vincent Pericard (remember him?) remains sidelined but Scott Cuthbert remains available after learning that he doesn't require surgery on his cheekbone.
Aden Flint has returned to Alfreton Town on loan for the remainder of the campaign while Milan Misun is out for the season with injury.
Town side that drew 0-0 at Huddersfield Town on 19/03/11
D. Lucas, A. Frampton, S. Cuthbert, A. Sheehan (J-C. Jean-Francois 85'), P. Caddis, J. Douglas, M. Timlin , D. Prutton, M. Ritchie (M. Rose 76'), C. Andrew, M. Grella (K. Amankwaah 62')
The low-scoring Palace forward has impressed with his effort since arriving on loan from Crystal Palace. He could become a firm favourite if he can score some goals and help keep Town up!
The last meeting between the two was on the opening day of the season at the County Ground with the three points going to Brighton thanks to a debut brace from Matt Sparrow. Charlie Austin scored Town's only reply (FS: STFC 1-2 B&HA)
Brighton 3-1 Swindon Town
