NEXT: Oldham Athletic

Relegated. Andrew Fitton resigns, Paul Hart departs and Paul Bodin picks up the flag to lead a disheartend STFC army into battle against a Oldham Athletic side with nothing to play for

Vital Quotes:

On the official Oldham Athletic website, Paul Dickov warned his side of the dangers(!) of playing a relegated team:

'I know from personal experience what it is like to play in teams and also against side which have been relegated and the one thing you know for certain is that they (Swindon) will play with freedom and they won't have any pressure on them.'

Swindon Town Team News:

Town limp towards League Two without Andy Frampton struggling David Lucas, Milan Misun and Kevin Amankwaah all out.

It is rumoured that Bodin might look towards youth. However, the likes of Nathan Thompson, Mark Scott and Abdul Said are all injured.

Matt Clark and Miles Storey are rumoured to play some part.

Player to watch: Matt Ritchie

I'm not quite sure who Paul Bodin will select. I'm sure he'll look to the future.

Matt Ritchie could well be our biggest threat going forward.

Oldham Athletic Team News:

Paul Dickov's side arrive in Wiltshire with Cedric Evina (ankle), Paul Black (abdomen) and Filipe Morais who is suspended. Skipper Reuben Hazell is stuggling as is Chris Taylor and Oumare Tounkara are also rated as doubtful.

Trainees Ryan Burns, David Mellor and young pro Phillip McGrath have been included.

Paul Dicksov's 20 man squad

Dean Brill, Jean-Yves, M'voto, Andy Todd, Ritchie Jones, Reuben Reid, Dean Furman, Lewis Alessandra, Warren Feeney, Chris Taylor, Phillip McGrath, Paul Gerrard, Paul Dickov, James Tarkowski, David Mellor, Oumare Tounkara, Carl Winchester, Ryan Burns, Aidy White, Neal Trotman

Athletic side that drew 1-1 with Walsall

D. Brill, J. Tarkowski, J-Y. Mvoto, A. White, C. Evina (F. Morais 23'), C. Winchester, K. Lee (R. Jones 46'), D. Furman, J. Lowe, R. Reid, W. Feeney (L. Alessandra 78').

Player to watch: Chris Taylor

He's struggling with a hamstring injury but has been included in Paul Dickov's threadbare side. Easily one of divisions best players.

Match Facts & Stats

Town and Athletic last met in January with Oldham earning a comfortable 2-0 victory over a dire Swindon side.

Chris Taylor and Dale Stephens grabbed the goals for the home side.

Match Prediction:

1-1.
