NEXT UP: Rotherham United

Not a great week for Town. Losses against Shrewsbury Town and Southampton was swiftly followed by Leon Clarke's much discussed exit. Now it's time for Di Canio's side to take on Martin Scott's in-form Rotherham United side.

Vital Quotes:

Talking to BBC Radio Swindon Paolo Di Canio stated that:

'We will have our chance but we need to score goals.

'This is an opportunity to show everyone in English football that we play a League One game.

'But we play too much football and it's not good enough to win.'

Swindon Town Team News:

New loan signing Ahmed Abdalla could make his debut after arriving from West Ham United on deadline day.

Leon Clarke ended his Town career with his post-Southampton hissy-fit which led the mass media to point the finger at Di Canio.

Elsewhere, Alessandra Cibocchi is still unavailable due to a paperwork delay with the Italian FA.

Oliver Risser is out injured.

Player to watch: Alan Connell

Many Town fans are desperate for the former Grimsby favourite to succeed at Swindon.

He has the attitude but he needs the minutes and more importantly, the goals.

Rotherham United Team News:

Former Alex Revell will make his debut as he prepares to fill the void left by Adam Le Fondre who linked up with Reading this week.

Match Facts & Stats

Town have a good historical record against the Millers with 16 wins in 26 matches (four draws and six losses).

However, Rotherham were victors the last time the two sides met way back in February 2006.

Jamie Cureton gave Swindon a 20th minute lead at the County Ground before Martin Butler levelled matters two minutes later.

Sean O'Hanlon put Town back in the lead on 25 minutes but that was cancelled out by Shaun Barker just six minutes after that!

The Millers snatched the win thanks to a second half goal from Martin Butler.
