VITAL PREVIEW: Burnley

Swindon Town welcome Burnley to the County Ground this evening for our Capital One Cup clash under the floodlights.

Vital Quotes:

"I`ve watched the clips. I don`t know exactly his record but every two games I see him celebrate so it means he`s on fire.

"He`s not a very elegant player to watch but he`s a competitive guy, he`s got physical presence, in the box he`s a killer and we have to be really careful.

Paolo Di Canio on Charlie Austin

Swindon Town Team News:

Troy Archibald-Henville is set to start in defence as Darren Ward is cup tied by Millwall. Giles Coke and Adam Rooney will miss the match as they are cup tied by their parent clubs.

Player to watch: Alan McCormack

Austin is dangerous as we all know, it's up to him to get his defence sorted to keep Charlie off the score sheet.

Burnley Team News:

Junior Stanislas, Jason Shackell and Michael Duff are likely to miss the match through injury. Cameron Stewart won't play as he is cup tied by parent club Hull City.

Player to watch: Charlie Austin

Who else is it going to be? Austin will almost certainly score against Town, most former Town players do. Just how many he scores remains to be seen and if he will celebrate.

Match Facts & Stats

This match will be the first time in 16 years the teams have played each other at the County Ground.

Match Prediction:

Town have been giant killers as of late with wins against Premier League side's Wigan and Stoke City. We will go for a 2-1 Town win.

Next Fixtures:

Town travel to the Greenhous Meadow to take on Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
