Vital Quotes:

See you all on Saturday and please get behind the players and be vocal for the team.

Swindon Town Manager Paul Sturrock

Swindon Town Team News:

Swindon Town will be without Andy Caton, Charlie Comyn-Platt and Andy Gurney. Jamie Vincent (hamstring) and Lee Peacock (virus) may not play. Phil Smith will play in goal as Preston do not want on-loan keeper Andy Lonergan to become cup-tied. Curtis Weston returns to the squad after a suspension.

Player to watch: Sofiene Zaaboub

Manager Paul Sturrock says Zaaboub has great attacking qualities. Swindon have had problems scoring goals and it will be interesting to see if frenchman Zaaboub can create more chances for the strikers.

Carlisle United Team News:

Carlisle currently sit 8th in the League One table. Carlisle midfielder Paul Thirlwell is a doubt due to a groin injury. Striker Karl Hawley could start after playing last weekend following a spell out due to a rib injury. Zigor Aranalde has signed a contract extension which keeps him at Brunton Park until the summer of 2008. Former Swindon Town loanee Neale McDermott is currently playing for Carlisle.

Player to watch: Zigor Aranalde

Aranalde has impressed for Carlsile since arriving at Carlisle 2 seasons ago. Aranalde has started 17 games for Carlisle this season. Aranalde also had spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Walsall.

Match Facts & Stats

The last time the 2 clubs met was on 3 February 1996 where Swindon Town won 2-1 infront of over 8,000 fans at the County Ground. Peter Thorne and Wayne Allison netted for Town.

Match Prediction:

A win or a loss, a draw would be no good to Swindon Fans who won't fancy the trip up north on a Tuesday night for a First Round Replay.
