UP NEXT: Southend United

Swindon Town hope to make it two wins in a row as they visit Roots Hall and Southend United on a rare Friday Night fixture.

Vital Quotes:

Southend United Team News:

Southend United beat Swindon easily at the County Ground 2-1 back on the 3rd September with goals from Adam Barrett and former Swindon Loanee Wayne Gray, and will be looking to make it 2 for 2. Highly touted goal scorer Shaun Goater may return to the starting 11 for the first time after being out for 6 weeks with a dislocated collarbone.

Player to watch: Freddy Eastwood

The former Swindon trialist has netted 12 times this season and is always a threat up front. Eastwood is sure to be determined to show Swindon what they missed out on.

Swindon Town Team News:

A couple of changes are sure to be made this week, with the departure of star striker Rory Fallon and the return of Sean O'Hanlon from injury. Swindon who won their last match 4-2 against Bournemouth will have to consider whether to start O'Hanlon or remain with the formation that was dominent last Saturday against the Cherries.

Player to watch: Lee Peacock/Jamie Cureton

With top goal scorer Rory Fallon now with Swansea City, the pressure will be on Jamie Cureton and new comer Lee Peacock to replace the goals. With Christian Roberts still away at the Sporting Chance Clinic, Town are likely to have Ashan Holgate on the bench.

Match Facts & Stats

Match Prediction:

Hard one to predict. Swindon will be a different team without Rory Fallon. This may or may not see the return of ground based football. With Fallon up front the club reverted to a long ball style that suited Fallon.
