3pm Kick Off
Swindon Town welcome Crewe Alexandra to the County Ground this Saturday for the first time since December 2002 where Crewe beat Town 3-1.
'They will press us hard - Crewe are a side who could cause us problems with their passing game. They have started the season well, although Luton Town were a good side and we coped with them when they came here.'
Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock
"I'm sure they will play a lot more direct football than other clubs but we know it will be a tough test for us because they have just been promoted and the supporters there will be on a high."
Crewe Alexandra Legend Dario Gradi
Town will be looking to continue their unbeaten run this Saturday. Blair Sturrock and Lee Peacock will likely start up front for Town. Barry Corr, Andy Nicholas and Ady Williams are all out of action and will not feature.
Roberts was fanastic at Cheltenham. Roberts will have to be playing his best if he is to keep Town's good form going.
Crewe currently sit 14th in League One with 4 points so far this season. Crewe lost 2-0 to Leyton Orient last week and will look to reverse their fortunes at the County Groun on Saturday. Nicky Maynard,Chris McCready, Byron Moore and Michael O'Connor are all out with injuries and won't feature in this match.
Bopp is a German attacking midfield player with a reputation for scoring spectacular goals from long distance. Town's midfield will have to work their hardest to stop the former Rotherham and Nottingham Forest player.
Last time these 2 teams played was on 19 April 2003 when Town won 1-0. Stefani Miglioranzi scored the only goal of the game.
If we can beat Luton at home who are one of the promotion favourites then why not Crewe? Realistically I think we are due a loss and will lose 2-1.
